My explorations
A firm conviction of mine is that philosophy is as important for a designer as their graphic capacities, the power of conceptualization, and the capacity to appreciate your environment and make certain anthropological analyses, more often than not, yield results that are authentic and honest, showing a better capacity to adaptation and absorcion of the information by our viewer.
Here, I expand my graphic skills, looking to grow and experiment with new tech, spaces, and products. Moving out of design grounds for a few moments to areas that can bring new light to client work with less friction to a final product. Testing concepts and emptiness, colors, and aesthetics going from a more abstract approach to a figurative narrative. A full circle.
Exhibitions
My work has been exhibited and sold in New York, Miami, L.A., Mexico City, Amsterdam, and Porto. From right in front of the MET to Art Basel and some places in Brooklyn and Colorado, I enjoyed showing my art to the public and talking directly with art collectors, artists, and enthusiasts—working on commission pieces and collaborating with other high-end artists of a more classic background.
Colors
One of my biggest fears while studying was color. I had a hard time mixing colors and creating palettes, and my solution was to bring more and more colors to my work till that fear became a sense of trust in me.
At the same time, while looking at my pieces, you will see an apparent reference to Carlos Cruz Diez and Jesus Soto, who influenced my early development as an artist. On top of that, you should see some of the described in the first paragraph of this page :).
